I am an economist focused on economic development and applied research. I conduct research that has relevant applications to the current needs of communities in the United States and abroad. My work aims at having a positive impact on the wellbeing of Hispanics in the United States and people in Latin America. I combine quantitative, qualitative, and community-based participatory research methods to conduct research focused on fostering economic inclusion. Through my work I also leverage digital technologies and tools for behavioral change with the purpose to empower individuals to make decisions that will improve their wellbeing.
